Bruce Hengel -

Bruce is an owner and COO of QC Optical since he and Jim McAndrew bought the company from Tom Mitchoff in September of 2004. Bruce started in the industry in 1971. He started in the wholesale business, became a licensed dispenser, and owned his own retail store for 12 yrs. In Spokane, Wa. He moved to Portland in 1988 and sold and serviced frames, lenses, and capital equipment until he bought QC with Jim.

Jim McAndrew -

Jim is the co-owner and CEO of QC with Bruce Hengel. Jim started in the lab business in 1975 working for Bausch and Lomb out of Chicago, Il. Most of his subsequent experience has been in sales and/or Management with various ophthalmic lens manufacturers. He also has sales experience with frames and capital equipment.

Debi McGrath -

Debi is the bench room supervisor at QC Optical. She has 28 yrs. of industry experience. She has worked at every position in the wholesale laboratory environment and has extensive experience at the retail optical level as well. Debi moved to Oregon from California and has worked for QC since 2006.

RaShell Orr -

RaShell has been with QC since 2000. RaShell wears many hats at QC: office manager, human resource administrator, and bookkeeper. RaShell got her bookkeeping certificate in 1992 and her license to prepare tax returns in 1995.

Larry Ellard -

Larry is the surface room supervisor at QC. Larry has worked in the wholesale lab business for 20 yrs. The last 14 yrs. Have been spent at QC
